  • Can a vehicle exhibited in the museum be rented for personal use (wedding, anniversary, rally...)?

    • Unfortunately NO. It is not possible to take vehicles out for personal use. Most of them are fragile and often unique and too much handling risks to deteriorate them. 
     
     
  • Can a vehicle exhibited in the museum be rented for professional use (film shoots, publicity campaigns...)?

    • NO, as with personal use, this could deteriorate the unique objects. 
     
     
  • Can objects from the museum be photographed at the museum for professional use?

    • YES, it is possible to photograph the pieces exhibited. For information concerning the conditions for professional use of photographs taken within the boundaries of the museum, you can contact us at (33)2.47.45.36.18 or by mail 
     
     
  • Can a reception be organized within the boundaries of the museum?

    • YES, the museum gladly caters to receptions, banquets, rallies, professional meetings... Its surroundings are ideal for these types of events (rooms and services are available) and it is in fact a place which is popular with inhabitants of the region. 
     
  • Can an exhaustive list of all of the objects, vehicles...exhibited  in the museum be obtained?

    • An exhaustive list of objects exhibited in the museum is being prepared. As soon as it is ready, you can consult it on-line at this site. 
     
  • Are there equivalent museums elsewhere in the world and are there exchanges between these museums?

    • As far as we know, there is no other museum in the world like the Museum Dufresne and foreign visitors confirm this daily. 
    Certain museums are dedicated to themes which can be found at the Museum Dufresne but none present as great a number of curiosities. 
    Occasionally we exchange pieces with other museums allowing us to propose new objects to visitors who come regularly. 
     
     
  • Is it possible to buy objects or vehicles exhibited in the museum?

  • In order to add to its collection, does the museum buy vehicles or objects from individuals?

    • YES, we are continually looking to enrich our collections and we make several acquisitions each year. 
     
     
  • If I'm a collector, can the museum furnish, exchange or sell me spare parts in order to repair antique equipment?
